Some NES and SNES games with multiplayer modes support both local and online play. Subscribers have access to games for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), and for an additional cost, are granted access to Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games. Nintendo distributes retro games to subscribers of its Nintendo Switch Online service. Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can access classic games for the NES and Super NES (top row).
